In a Pryor Life
In A Pryor Life is the story about Richard Pryor Jr. and his father Richard Pryor Sr. They had the same upbringing and was molded by their Grandmother Marie Carter in Peoria Illinois. Richard Pryor Jr. details how he had a distant but close relationship with his father and had conversations with him about how he dealt with depression, drugs, fatherhood and coming out as a Gay Black Man.

Project Summary
STORYLINE
Life started out for both men in the city of Peoria IL, this film will detailed the upbringing of both Richard Pryor Sr. and his son that led to the choices they made in their careers. Both were raised in a Brothel house and saw things the average kid should not witnessed at an early age.
The title “ In A Pryor Life” will be narrated by Richard Pryor Jr. who will also be an actor in the film. This film will show the life of the Pryor family in a unique way that will shed how the family was constructed from the Matricia of the family down to the youngest of the family Barbara McGee the half sister of Richard Pryor Sr. and aunt of Richard Pryor Jr. Just imagine the film picture in “The Godfather 2” which details the life of a young Vito Corleone and the older version of himself in the film. That’s how the film will contrast the lives of both father and son lives.
